You're not just getting a photo session - you're getting a guide for the whole thing!

The best first step is a quick conversation.

There's no pressure and no commitment. Just a chance to talk through what you're looking for and make sure we're a great fit for each other.

If we are — and I hope we are — I'll take it from there.

These seasons don't last. The babies get bigger, the kids get taller, and the moments you kept meaning to capture just... pass. This is the year you stop putting it off.

The Process

Here's how it works

Step 1.

WE TALK FIRST

Send me a note, and I'll reach out within 24 hours to schedule a quick call. This is a real conversation — no scripts, no pressure. I want to hear about your family, what you're hoping to capture, and whether we're a good fit. You'll also get a chance to ask every question you've been holding onto.

During our call, I'll send over an investment guide so you can review everything at your own pace (and share it with your partner before you commit to anything).

Step 2.

YOU BOOK YOUR DATE

When you're ready, I'll send a booking proposal. Review it, sign the contract, and pay your session fee — and your date is officially yours. Session fees vary by session type and are confirmed during our call.

A heads up: my calendar fills up fast, especially in fall. If you're thinking about it, it's worth reaching out sooner rather than later.

Step 3.

WE PLAN EVERYTHING TOGETHER

This is one of my favorite parts. Before your session, you'll get a welcome guide packed with everything you need to know — what to bring, how to prep, and what to expect.

We'll nail down your location, finalize your outfits, and talk through any logistics.

Take time to look over the style guide. Your outfits can make or break a session. I've got great inspo for coordinating outfits on Pinterest and the link is included in your style guide!

Step 4.

YOUR SESSION

Your job is simple: show up and be yourselves.

I'll handle the rest — the direction, the energy, the posing that doesn't look like posing. My sessions are designed to feel easy and fun, even with little ones who aren't exactly cooperating. Especially with little ones who aren't cooperating. (That's actually where some of the best photos happen.)

Step 5.

SNEAK PEEKS

I will have your sneak peeks ready within 24 hours after your session! Yay! The rest of your gallery will be delivered within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Once you receive your digital images via Pixieset, you can select and order albums, wall art, & canvases!

Ready to get started?

Photos that live in your home, not on your phone.

Every collection includes a hand-crafted album or photo book — something you can hold, flip through, and hand down. And for most families, the reveal is where they realize they want something on the walls too.

A canvas in the nursery. A framed print above the fireplace. A photo album on the shelf that your kids will open someday and say, "Wait — was that really us?"

I'll help you figure out what makes sense for your space. You don't have to come in knowing what you want.

What families are saying...

"The whole experience was everything we wanted and more."

Amazing is an understatement. I have never had photos taken professionally and Tiffany made the whole experience truly one for the books. The way she was able to capture our photos and have it look exactly like the memory I will hold and cherish forever is what I believe makes her talent truly remarkable. The whole experience was everything we wanted and more. She was extremely easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable and confident the moment we met! Not to mention she was able to deliver our photos in a timely manner and even provided us with sneak peaks on the same day!

I would recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Now that you are booked and things are officially official - let’s talk through the entire process, step-by-step! I want you to know what’s around every corner as you begin to prep for your shoot day!

A WELCOME GUIDE WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW.

01
THE STYLE GUIDE

To make sure your session feels effortless and timeless, I’ve included a style guide on this webpage with a link to my Pinterest board to help you pick out outfits that will not only complement the natural beauty of your family but also ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident. From color palettes to texture recommendations, the guide is designed to take the guesswork out of what to wear so you can focus on enjoying your session. The goal is to create cohesive looks that reflect your family's unique vibe—whether you prefer a laid-back, cozy look or something a little more polished. With the style guide, you’ll have all the tips you need to look and feel your best, and ultimately, to ensure that your photos will be as beautiful as the moments they capture.

02
THE WEEK BEFORE

As your shoot day approaches, I’ll reach out with the final details, including our meeting time, location, and any last-minute check-ins!

For portraits, I like to schedule sessions during “golden hour” — that magical window of light that occurs either 1 to 2 hours before sunset or 1 to 2 hours after sunrise. We’ve probably already discussed which time of day works best for you, but if not, we’ll finalize that soon! These hours provide the softest, most flattering light and cooler temperatures.

To ensure everything goes smoothly, I usually confirm the exact meeting time 1-2 weeks before your shoot, based on the sunset schedule. If the weather looks unpredictable, like clouds or rainstorms, this gives me the flexibility to adjust the timing for optimal lighting.

03
THE SHOOT DAY!

This section of the style guide could be its own book in itself! So many fun things to talk about on the day of your shoot! Your shoot will be 1 hour in total.

Let’s dive into what to expect each minute of your family session:

DSC_8106-2.2.jpg

The Importance Of Being On Time

First and foremost: being on time for your shoot is crucial. And it’s not just about my time — it’s about the sun’s time. Since we plan your session around the "golden hour", being late means losing valuable shooting time. Even a 15-minute delay can take away a full 15 minutes of light. Once the sun sets, the shoot is over!

To avoid cutting into your session, aim to arrive 15-30 minutes early. This buffer accounts for any unexpected delays like traffic, so you don’t lose any of that precious light.

If you’re more than 30 minutes late, we’ll need to reschedule your shoot for the next available date, which is typically 2-3 months out.

LET'S TALK LOCATIONS

ARE THEY A BIG DEAL?

Choosing your locations is just as important as selecting your outfits (don’t worry, we’ll get into that soon!). The spots we pick will significantly impact the overall style and vibe of your photos. If you are planning to hang your photos in your living space, a key question to ask is "Does this suit my

home's vibe"?

LOCATION OPTIONS

Rural & Rustic

Think country chic: open fields, barns, wooden accents + tall, overgrown grass, florals,

and nature.

Urban & Downtown

A fun, colorful downtown shoot is always an option! Think textured walls, cute doors and pretty architecture!

I'VE GOT YOU COVERED!

Now, for the slightly less fun part...let's address a few quick things that could go wrong at your session. These are some frequently asked questions that I get about common problems that can pop up...and I want you to feel as prepared as possible! And I'm confident that we will get you amazing images no matter what gets thrown our way!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some questions that I get often, and what to do if anything goes wrong leading up to your shoot date!

What happens if we have bad weather?!

Bad weather happens all the time! If there is bad weather in the forecast for your shoot, rest assured that you have options and I am MORE than happy to reschedule! I typically wait until we are 48 hours out from the session to make a final decision about weather because it changes so often.

If there is a 50% chance of rain or LESS: It is TOTALLY up to you whether you want to move forward with trying to shoot, or if you'd prefer to reschedule to another date. If we shoot and it DOES rain...we will have to finish the session despite the weather (we can't do two shoots if you decide to move forward but the weather doesn't cooperate). I'd recommend rescheduling to be safe. If there is a 50% chance of rain or MORE: My professional recommendation in these scenarios is to reschedule. Even if it doesn't end up raining, it's always better to be safe than sorry, especially if you are really excited about bright, sunset light in your photos!

Wind: Typically, we can shoot despite the wind if we are strategic with WHERE we shoot. But if there are crazy gusts and you would prefer to move to a day when we know your hair won't have fly aways... we can make that happen!

Fog: Typically, fog is only an issue with sunrise shoots. If there is severely thick fog, it will impact your images because they will be cloudy and grey...which is not my typical shooting style that you booked me for.

Cloudy: I have a lot of clients who get worried about cloudy days because they think their images won't be as bright and beautiful...but rest assured, that's not true!! Cloudy days are actually AMAZING for photographers...because it means there are no harsh shadows!! Unless it is a seriously grey day with heavy fog or severe storm clouds...cloudy days are our friend!! AND they aren't as hot!!

What if we do have to reschedule because of weather?

That is COMPLETELY okay! We will make the final call 24-48 hours before your session. Part of the reason I only take 2 sessions per week is to leave TONS of room open for rescheduling if we need to for reasons outside of our control (i.e. sickness, weather, emergencies). Typically, you won't have to wait longer than a week if we have to move your date! *
*This does NOT include needing to reschedule because of poor planning, running late or any other reason.

GALLERY DELIVERY

YAY! It takes 2 to 3 weeks to edit your images, then you'll get an email or text with the link to your full gallery! This is where you will be able to download, share and print all of your high-resolution digital images. You can download individual images or the entire gallery at once. You can also individually save photos to your phone to start sharing on social media! The next few pages of the guide will walk you through how to use your gallery and the best ways to print and display your new favorite photos. Be sure to come back and reference this after your session!

BE SURE TO COME BACK & REFERENCE THIS AFTER YOUR SESSION!

THE SNEAK PEEKS

After your shoot, my favorite part of the process is sharing your sneak peeks! I truly get just as excited about your images as you do…and I go home straight from your shoot to edit a handful of my favorites and get them in your hands ASAP! You can expect 3-5 sneak peeks to be shared shortly after your shoot…and you are welcome to share them anywhere you’d like, too!

THE GALLERY DELIVERY

Editing your final gallery typically takes 2-3 weeks, and gallery delivery day is THE MOST EXCITING!!! I will send you the link to your final gallery in an email or by text. This gallery is where you can easily download, share and print all of your high-resolution digital files. Your gallery is SO easy to use, and my hope is that it makes sharing your images easy. Here’s a peek into what it will look like:

DSC_7035.jpg

DOWNLOAD CODE

You will receive a download code for your gallery. It allows only you, and those you choose to give access to it, the ability to download your digital images. Additionally, you can favorite images and I can see them on my end...which makes it easy for me to help you order prints and products!

"THE HIGHLIGHTS"

The top of your gallery will have a section called "The Highlights". These images are what I think are the BEST of the best...my personal favorites from your entire shoot. You'll start off your gallery experience scrolling through the best of the best!

DOWNLOADING YOUR IMAGES

When you are looking at your full gallery, you can click the button {with the down arrow) to open the download menu.

PRINTING YOUR IMAGES

I truly believe so deeply in the power of printing your images and displaying them in your home. There is something so special about having a physical copy of these memories to cherish and pass down to other family someday. I have physical photo albums of my engagement photos, anniversary pictures, family pictures, and my own senior session... and my kids and I LOVE to look at them!

You took the time to invest so much money into your session...why not print the images and have a physical way to

cherish them and share them?

I do not have any requirements in terms of printing your images. They are yours to share and print from whenever you prefer! But there is the option to purchase professional-quality prints and products through your online gallery. This is the ONLY printing option that I personally and professionally recommend in terms of quality and durability. If you print somewhere else, I can NOT guarantee that the quality of the images will look the same as they do online, or that the products and prints themselves will be durable. My honest suggestion is this: if you want to print your images larger than a 4x6…the professional printer through your online gallery is the best way to go.

In the next few pages, I am going to walk you through the "shop" portion of your gallery. This is where you can find prints, photo books, canvases, greeting cards and more directly through my professional photo lab!

ACCESSING THE SHOP

When you are inside your full gallery, you will see the shopping bag icon. It will be near the download arrow. When you open up the shop, you will find all of the product options there. You can purchase prints, canvases, photo books, cards and more! I'll walk you through how to design each type of product over the next few pages!

When ordering prints, you will select the desired image and choose the size(s) you want to order. Depending on which size you select, it will likely prompt you to "adjust crop" for each image.

It will open up a window that looks like this so you can customize the crop and be sure nothing important is getting cut off! I recommend centering the people in the photo for the best cropping.

ALBUMS + PHOTO BOOKS

One of my personal favorite ways to print images is in an album or photo book. It's an absolutely great way to share your photos

with guests in your home! They are also the most customizable option - you can pick the cover material + color,

plus you get to design all of the pages inside!

These make AMAZING gifts for family members, too!

HOLIDAY CARDS

These holiday cards are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the professional print quality means your images will look incredible featured on each card! There are TONS of amazing design options for these!
